Dusold Universal Chassis: Pro-Touring Done Right
If you want a front subframe that fits any engine, the Dusold Universal Chassis is it. Dusold Designs built this tubular chassis through years of real racing. They ran it at Pikes Peak and Time Attack events across the country. It supports GM, Ford, Mopar, and Nissan engines. Because it comes in both RWD and AWD configs, it works for almost any build direction.

What Makes The Dusold Universal Chassis Different?
Most subframe kits give you a starting point. This one gives you a finished product. The front subframe ships with C6 Corvette spindles, SKF hubs, upper and lower control arms, a cantilever rocker assembly with pushrods, a bump steer kit, a sway bar, and a Ford Boss 302R electric power steering rack. Hardware is included. So you are not hunting down bracketry or forcing parts that were never meant to work together.

The geometry is fully adjustable. Out of the box, you get camber, toe, caster, roll center, bump steer, and motion ratio. With optional parts, you can also tune anti-dive, camber gain, and roll bar stiffness. There is even a third spring option for decoupled roll versus heave stiffness. That level of setup separates a real chassis from a basic bolt-in.
Engine Compatibility: The Universal In Universal Chassis
This chassis fits a wide range of engines. On the GM side, it takes small block, big block, LS, and LT. Ford builders can run a Coyote, Godzilla, Boss 429, or a small or big block. Mopar support covers small block, big block, and new-gen HEMI. Nissan VR38 fitment is also on the list. Because the engine list is so broad, it works well for swap builds or anyone who has not locked in a powerplant yet.

RWD Or AWD: Your Build, Your Call
The AWD package adds R35 GT-R diff mounts, a drop-off frame section, jackshafts, support bearings, halfshafts, and hub adapters. The front subframe runs 63 inches wide at the track and 48 inches in overall length. Ride height sits at 4.5 inches at its lowest point. The firewall width is 78.25 inches, but you can trim it to 55 inches to fit more engine bays.

Is The Dusold Universal Chassis Worth The Investment?
At $19,500 for the RWD front subframe, this is not a cheap buy. But that price covers a full front suspension package. You get race-level geometry, a power steering rack, quality hubs and spindles, and a chassis that has been tested at Pikes Peak. For builders who want to skip the fab work and focus on driving, the Dusold Universal Chassis delivers real value.
